IT'S WEEKEND TIME

Oh heeeeey.  So I've been wanting to do a post about resolutions but my main resolution has been taking over and it feels like I don't have a minute for anything else.  That resolution revolves around work and revamping our website, creating some amazing tools for our clients and really keeping up with our social media.  So you see? There's little time for much else but this is my true creative outlet (obviously my job is very creative but there's still clients to please!) so neglecting it is not an option for me.  How about we take a weekend, regroup and come back on Monday and talk resolutions, K?

STARTING OFF THE NEW YEAR WITH MARTHA STEWART WEDDINGS

Does it feel like Monday to anyone else?  I'm trying to get back into work-mode and was having a little trouble.  That is until I learned our peach farm wedding from this summer was featured on MARTHA STEWART WEDDINGS!!!!!!!!  Someone pinch me. I might just go take the rest of the day off. xo

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a magical weekend! Mine was pretty low-key with some Christmas movies and a little holiday shopping.  And then came Sunday - our shoot with Mrs. Lilien and Sitting in a Tree was EPIC.  Champagne flowin', snow machine blowin'...you can see a teeny tiny sneak peek from the festivities on instagram.  (and while yer at it - give me a follow: @joielala_shelby and @joielalaphoto)

Seriously those girls are insane in the best way.  I can't wait to sit down, throw on some gansta rap and start editing.  xoxo

HAVE A FESTIVE WEEKEND

Happy Friday Everyone! I just finished editing the.most.amazing.wedding.EVER.  I'm so excited to share this one with the world - though you'll have to wait a bit....but you can see a peek of this couple (who are both incredibly gorgeous inside and out) right here.

Not to freak you out but there are only 18 days left until Christmas!  I finally feel like I'm ready for the holidays after the Mister and I decorated the tree and house last night while polishing off a bottle of champagne and watching Elf. (it's the only way I can get him to participate - booze and Will Ferrell)

I still need to wrap up my Christmas shopping and I may brave the mall this weekend.  Any San Diegans out there who have been to the new UTC? I'm kind of excited to check it out.

To add to my festive weekend we have a fabulous holiday inspired shoot planned with the incredible (total understatement) Mrs. Lilien and the ever-sparkly genius Tori from Sitting in a Tree.  I couldn't be more excited or honored to be working with these two.  We've been super lucky to work with Tori on several projects including our Holiday Sparkles shoot above - you can see more of that on our blog and on 100 Layer Cake.
